This RNG is annoying, I got like three plauges (Madrid is at 3K inhabitants now :rofl: ) It was at 14K when the session started
I also got three of those unhappy peasents, -2 stab.
I start to wonder if it might be something wrong with Devils random events. I have never experienced this with Vanilla random events. Not getting the same events three times a row in a 4 years period anyway.
What do you guys think?
I will consider to use the vanilla events next session if others got the same problems. :/

Bleh it's not that easy to fight France without a capable Venice, and then expect invasions from BB and OE. I also have this remarkable computer setup which I acquired this Thursday that makes my war skills less good than usual:
I plan to buy a port replicator, but until then I need to play in a twisted state in order to be able to use shitty keyboard while viewing big (and readable) screen. When I get it I expect things to even out a bit as I'll be able to plug in a proper keyboard and proper loudspeakers.

I think Devil's events were "balanced" for the amount of goodies they give. However, stab hits are very subjective and as such they will hurt big stab cost / low income nations more than compact traders. Vanilla events also have their stab hit imbalances though, I can't tell you the frustration of receiving three -3 stab political crises in a row and at each time have invested up to 0 stab.

From +20 something to 9 something. And that is not very randomized either :wacko:
Notice that there was both -1, -2 and -3 deflation events.
Its not the events, it is 100% because of the RNG. Hell with the normal event I got 7 exceptional years in one session. Anyway the fact is the RNG is bugged and needs a overhaul, but don't expect that to be fixed before eu3.
The reason you get so many hard stab events fred is because you are so huge, england has the same problem.
Ofcourse if people want it I can tweak down the effects of stab hits, but that just makes the game even easier.

The fact is embargoing me and Holland is only costing you cash, and especially trade efficiency. Why is this spain a pain in the ass to trade with??? The Embargo is only temporary until i can catch up in my own COTs.devil said:

This was however solved with the embargo.
The constant stabhits makes it very hard to trade, 4-5 merchants yearly at negative stab make it impossible to trade efficently. I cant anyway.
Also that the most other nations have better TE then Spain means that Spanish merchants have a hard time to compete with others.
Spain is very dependent to have monopolis in order to trade efficently.
