I'm sure we can continue saying it.
"No one would be interested in a WWI DLC for HOI4."
Whether it is true or not is a different question. I'd rather have Vic3 than a WWI DLC for HOI4, but that's just me.
lololol. On the by, there's a chance we could possibly have both (although I may sound greedy wanting this!)
That's a confusing statement, greedy because you want to pay money for an add-on to what looks to be a great game and a new iteration of a great title![]()
The trailer uses the actual game engine if that's what you mean, Frostbite 3 is incredible in detail. Just comparing Battlefront as well, looks amazing (about all I can say that's great about it, PC pop has died)This looks like a movie trailer. I prefer when we see actual gameplay instead of eye candy.
Cant wait for COD war of 1812 all those ADD kids are going to go insane with 35 second reload times
I'm sure we can continue saying it.

which actually would be victoria 2. Well, it doesnt start in WW2 but it leads into the war.I'm not interested in a WW1 Hoi4 DLC. I think the combat system cannot really simulate trench warfare well enough.
However I'm interested in a new GSG in a WW1 setting.

Unless you took HoI4's start date all the way back to roughly 1899, you could not possibly do the First World War the same justice in terms of the build-up, political tension and industrial races that Paradox does so well in starting at 1936 for WW2. Victoria 3 would just do WW1 better in the grand scheme of things.

Without Victorias Crisis system for example it would be kinda dull and hard to reflect the situation back then which ultimately snowballed into ww1.
With that said there will be a WW1 mod at some point anyway, i am sure.

while Victoria's great wars don't go into detail like hoi, they are still a lot of fun and quite rewarding. To finally smash your rivals and cut them down into as many small states as possible. I don't expect, nor want Victoria to be WWI hoi, it's the big picture stuff that leads up to the war and the resulting situation that is fun about Vicky wars imo.
