Hello,

The Battle Thrall tool tip does not explicitly state they cannot do specialist jobs like the others, more than that it specifically states they are granted more autonomy than other slaves and can do "a greater variety of jobs".

I tought it would make sense that battle thralls could be employed as artisans, metallurgists or any of the special resource conversion specialist jobs which might still fit their vibe, especially metallurgists that would fit the war needs and their subject matter.

I feel this would grant them a much needed niche use for slaver empires who already struggle with specialist workforce.

Given the tooltip description it would make sense, not sure if this could be considered a bug or omission, or should fall under suggestions...

They can be enforcers, but that's it for specialist jobs. And really how do you expect people, who are only trained for combat to be good metallurgists?

As a slaver you can use Residence+Basic Subsistence for your xeno specialists. They'll have x0.25 CG (as much as decent cond. worker) and -75% political power (as much as slaves).
