Has anyone else had a problem like this with any other nation or is it just Japan? Is there a fix?
When playing as Japan, on 4 separate occasions, I have declared and gone to war with China. I've drawn up battle plans from Shanxi to Beijing in a multitude of ways using both as on large front and breaking the fronts into segments, no units move or attack along the battle front or drawn lines of the battle plan. Today I tried to move each division across the border, directly opposite them, they would not attack across the boarder. They had to move all the was down to Beijing and attack there and only there. Even with 60 divisions attacking into Beijing I could not win against 17. If you ask me there is something wrong with the battle system if you cant drawn up battle plans or control individual divisions and have them do what it is you are telling them to execute or even to lose a battle where 60 divisions outnumber your opponent. This was all in single player mode btw.
