I've noticed this a couple of times but only finally managed to track it down to a concrete case.

Playing the ardennes scenario I had the remainder of the German Whermact (12 inf 3 arm) trapped in Friendriech-schaffen (sp). No units were in retreat anywhere as the allies organized for the final attack. Right before my attack, 8 German divisions (6inf 2 arm) appeared in Frankfurt-am-Main. There were now 6inf and 1 arm in Friendriech-schaffen. Both forces were wipped out, but how did they get there? Was it possible that the AI moved through the blacked-out area? Other thoughts?

Hopefully this is only the case of being a demo

I've not tried this, but I imagine that if the SR is already on the way when the pocket closes, it would be expecting a lot of the code to work out whether it made it inside the pocket (which might be a couple of provinces deep) before it closed or not. So I'd think that SRs would indeed be completed, and this is probably what happened.
By contrast, if you capture a province that someone SR'd to, they don't suddenly turn up anyway, but 'get out' at the nearest friendly province on the route, which is what you'd expect.

Then I misunderstood your question. :) It sounded as if you described teleportation of 6 inf and 2 arm from German controlled Friedrichshaven to Frankfurt-am-main. If you are saying that you controlled Frankfurt-am-main all the time (i.e. from before the time they disappeared from Friedrichshaven), then I am stumped.

On SRDing into pockets, Gwalchmai, the rule is that you can SRD to anywhere on the same landmass that is in supply when you give the order.
