There are currently no traits to improve robotic assault armies (save for the 'Warbot' civic).

Seems a little counterintuitive because organic pops have the Strong and Resilient traits to improve assault armies and robots built specifically for combat seems to be a staple in the sci-fi genre (Battle Droids, Terminators etc.)

We can have a new trait 'Battle Doid' for instance which gives a 5%-10% bonus to robotic assault armies' damage and hitpoints (or just a 10%-20% boost to damage). If it seems a little OP we can have the downside of having mechanical pops with this 'Battle Droid' (or Warbot or whatever you wish to call it) trait being unable to work in other jobs except soldiers and enforcers unless the Synthetics tech is researched and the necessary AI rights policy has been set (servitude or full citizenship). You can also have this trait give an additional 5% ship damage if a sentient battle droid somehow becomes an admiral. Imagine the RP potential lol.

The Durable trait can also be set to give an additional 5%-10% hitpoints to robotic assault armies.

I believe this would add flavor to both machine empires and players who wish to use 'Battle Doid' armies instead. Also the Warbots civic can be changed to provide a boost to army experience gain/army build cost and/or build speed instead if you feel that the damage boost stacks are too OP.

This in turn also provides another incentive to keep captured robot pops for use as 'Battle Doids' in future campaigns to minimise the loss of organic lives.

On a side note, I feel that the current repeatable tech for army damage and health boosts should be renamed to something along the lines of 'Weapon Upgrades' and 'Armor Improvement'. The current Nerve Dampaner and Aggressive Conditioning techs can be changed to a capped repeatable tech which ends at level V (like all other capped repeatables such as the starbase capacity tech). There's only so much boost to army combat effectiveness which aggressiveness and the lack of pain can get you. Once past a certain stage improvments in armor and weapons (my personal fusion blaster vs your projectile shotgun) should carry more weight.

And oh we can also add an additional tech 'personal deflector shields' to give a one off 5%-20% boost to army hitpoints. This would definitly add some RP flavour, rather than attempt to imagine all these in your head.
