2 open download.
3 double-click on setup-osx.app
4 cry.

I have a similar issue. I DL'd from HumbleBundle, and when I run setup-osx.app, I can choose my language, but then it tells me BT can't be installed because the DL is either corrupt or incomplete.

I had the same problem: the installer has the wrong privileges set. However, even fixing that didn't enable me to install the game, as the dist file seems to be corrupted.

By the way, there's a new installation package available over at the Humble Store, where the installer now launches… but still doesn't install anything.

I found a solution, I contacted HBS and changed to a steam key. For all you MAC folks out there its running smooth on a 2014 Mac Mini with an i7 processor and 16 gb of ram. I have the graphics set to everything low and running windowed a a slightly lower res than my lcd allows. No over heating and only minor glitching in game. And it still look real nice!

I just switched to steam. I am not a “computer” guy and I am not going to do all the stuff these dedicated folks on this thread are, switching to steam was the simplest way. It’s playing great on my 2014 Mac mini with the graphics turned down and no over heating after playing for three hours yesterday
