One line summary of your issue
Crash at the end of into video when starting the campaign

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Watching the first campaign cut scene it started lagging.

Later it just got white with a little menu bar on the top left. Then getting a no response marker.

Then a crash report.

Unity Player [version: Unity 5.6.5p1_b5fcd78dd1ab]

d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module d3d11.dll at 0033:618c91a4.

Error occurred at 2018-04-24_170808.
C:\Games\gog\battletech\BATTLETECH\BattleTech.exe, run by Ben.
31% memory in use.
16384 MB physical memory [11298 MB free].
18816 MB paging file [12713 MB free].
134217728 MB user address space [134213338 MB free].
Read from location 00000109 caused an access violation.

Work-around that worked for me:

Rename the file "AVProVideo.dll" to something else (in my case "AVProVideo.dll.renamed") and restart the game.
I can play the game, but gets no video sequences. Suxs, but better than nothing.

In my case the file above is installed in: D:\Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\Plugins
I wonder if the problem is, that the game is installed on drive D: (and not C:)
