I am having the same issue. I've tried several times to launch the first mission of the campaign (after the controls tutorial) and it has crashed every time. As one of the crash logs was referring to steamVR, I have uninstalled it but it's made no difference. When the game crashes, steam usually crashes with it and there are Windows Low Memory warnings, so it seems like the game has a terminal memory leak or something? I have closed everything else on my system (except steam to launch the game) to no effect.
