The realm rejoices as Paradox Interactive announces the launch of Crusader Kings III, the latest entry in the publisher’s grand strategy role-playing game franchise. Advisors may now jockey for positions of influence and adversaries should save their schemes for another day, because on this day Crusader Kings III can be purchased on Steam, the Paradox Store, and other major online retailers.
I actually find a lot of solace in my homework, well most of it. When I can just grab a pint of Guinness and have a bowl of popcorn next to me I can start working on Hypersonic approximations at 15:00 and before I know it it is 3:00...Yeah I hear that.... Just take your time dude.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you could muster through it all.just finished reading all of this, it's a fantastic read. jolly good show
The link between Vinland/Markland/Greenland and Europe is filtered through Iceland (who is very protective of their so-far monopoly over the New World). However, as we might find out soon. Not all is well in the colonies. So, there is some link between the Vinland colonies and the Old World, but very tenuous. I'm surprised a prince would not have heard of them, though...
My grandfather was an officer in the USN and the USMM and he would always tell tales of superstitions of the sailors (especially career sailors).Doyvát, why you no take ship to Memelgrad? Taking it to the city and inspecting it there would be the most sensible thing to do. Damn sailors and their superstitions.
Thanks, the MEIOU map is just beautiful.Nice maps!
And nice to see Dovyát in action. And I wonder how that skraeling ended up in there...
Curious. . .
Did anything gameplay-wise inspire this story or just author's imagination?
Nope, right from the old noggin. PEIOU started in 1389, so the period between the civil war with Vishly and the reign of Doyvát II is made up (mostly as I cleaned up the map from CK).The only thing I can think of that might have inspired him to write this that could have been gameplay, is land and sea province spread so that he was able to see parts of Icelandic colonies in Vinland.
Thanks, glad work has finally given you time to breathe. Actually I recently had an interview with Pratt & Whitney, which is a dream come true. Now to cross my fingers and wait for a phone call.Nice updates (fell behind due to loads of work), especially that last one with the skræling coming out of the mists of legends !
literary agents? Dream come true much?Nope, right from the old noggin. PEIOU started in 1389, so the period between the civil war with Vishly and the reign of Doyvát II is made up (mostly as I cleaned up the map from CK).

Shhhh, they sound like literary agents. That was just me hoping that you would be able to put all of this together in an actual epic book. Can't tell if you are joking, but Pratt & Whitney build turbine jet engines for the US military and civilian aircraft. It is a very prestigious company to work for.
Where's the modern map of Africa again? First post should link to it, right?
Not yet. Mostly because I am still tweaking things.Do you have a World map made out yet? Just boundaries of countries with their flags pasted into them.
