I'm playing Jarl Dyer for the first time since RC. Out of nowhere, the moment I fathered my second male son, I was suddenly and without doing anything made into a bastard founder. I thus lost the house Oskyldr tag, but my eldest son is still Olskyldr. Now it's telling me that my primary heir is not of my dynasty. I dug into it a bit and it appears my primary heir is the second son, but the heir to the duchy itself is my first son, who's still Olskydr.

This is really weird and has never happened before playing Kiev / Konugundr. I've never had bastard founder just appear out of nowhere afaik and I've never had it be an issue with Jarl Dyer: I've played centuries before RC dropped always staying Olskyldr.

(edit) Obviously, I can't disinherit the first son (I'd love to) because he's not my dynasty.

I had the same issue. I'm not sure if its a bug or what but I didn't care since I had no plans on the first son being my heir. I divorced my wife ASAP and married another genius to get an heir that didn't suck. Throw him in the dungeon until he dies and be done with it. If he's an adult torturing him will speed up the process. If you' switch to a religion that allows the take the vows option you can imprison and force that as well. Or you can hybridize with greek (very powerful hybrid with norse), get Byzantine traditions, imprison him, and cut his nuts off.

Another possible option (if you wanna play nice) is to conquer a duchy you don't care about, make that duchy your primary title, and move your capital there. Then just grant your 2nd son everything you want him to inherit. I'm pretty sure that will work anyway.

Remove the bastard trait from Dyre (6811 in characters/norse.txt) and remove his father. Change dynasty to "dynasty = 7516" and revive that in the dynasty file (remove the #'s from it).
