Does Anyone know why the achievement Basileus hasn't fired in this game?



I made sure to get every possible province it could be, but I'm still not sure why the achievement hasn't fired

i don't know but with all the new provinces maybe something miss? or maybe there is a problem similar to the great khan achievement, which one of the province required is wasteland

It may be the last Genoese province? I'm not sure how they changed what you need in that area since adding Theodora.

I have a feeling that the addition of the new provinces may have a hand in certain achievements not working.

I'd try grabbing some of the adjacent provinces. Sorry, I don't really have more helpful information.

Strange. I just got Basileus and it looks like you've got all the provinces needed. Maybe grab the Imeriti provinces along the sea, I think one counts as I had it when I got the achivement?

They didn't change the achievements requirements in 1.8.1. AT ALL leading to the Great Khan being un-achieve-able (1 province being a wasteland now)

Remember those Brazilian provinces in Poland? It could be something like that where the ID associated with the old achievement is some middle of nowhere province.

The map in the achievement condition page for Basileus on the wiki looks Swiss cheese.

Here is the provinces required for the achievement, just check them all:

That achievement doesn't lists all provinces, it gives the three regions and in regions.txt a wasteland was listed under russian region thus the problem.

I got it in 1.8 (beta), so it is possible, no idea sorry. All I can suggest is:
Started in 1.7?
Not Ironman?
Mods?

Strange... I have all the provinces there, and I started it in 1.8 and I made sure its ironman. I really have no clue why the achievement didnt fire
