Screenshot attached. Dialog advertises Verse loyalty influence (and appears to grant it), however it's Barik who pipes up with the commentary.

Greetings!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, after taking a look at the issue we believe that this is an issue of presentation. If Barik's reputation gets high enough to the point that it is close to the lock symbol (visible on the Reputation UI screen), his reputation gain will no longer appear because he cannot exceed that lock without a very major gain in reputation. Thus the notification of him gaining rep (which he would otherwise gain in this particular instance) does not appear. This has been brought to the attention of the devs and we will see about adjusting this to make it present better. Thank you very much for your support.

-Best,
Ian

Right....but the dialog option was flagged as [Verse: Gain Average Loyalty]. Why is Barik speaking if I just said something that Verse liked? Either that's supposed to read [Barik: Gain Average Loyalty] (or not read it because his Loyalty is capped) or there's something triggering his dialog for her Loyalty gain. Or am I missing something?

Thanks for looking into this.

Greetings again!

So here's how it would look without the Barik reputation cap (see below). I understand what you're saying about why Verse doesn't say anything, but the reason is that some lines of dialogue have an association with a character in the game (either Archons, Companions, or Factions) and in this case it was a companion. Sometimes these lines (most apparent with Bleden Mark and Tunon) don't really have any dialogue reactions, but just increase or decrease the favor/wrath with the character. Thus the line that followed was not one of Verse's lines of dialogue, but Barik's. It's a bit confusing I'll admit, given the way it looks like this should lead to a Verse reaction, but it's just a way of showing that Verse agrees with this sentiment (and also increasing reputation with her), and then Barik also agrees, and it's his dialogue line that follows. Let me know if you have any further questions, and thank you again for all the support.

-Best,
Ian
