Is this not the case anymore? Did you remove this feature and not tell us or? Because I cannot decide how my banner should look like on the wall like the image above!

To my knowledge the customization should be in there and is not something we've removed, but I can make some guesses as to why it might not be working.

- A banner can exist that features:
A) A titles CoA
B) Your family CoA
C) Another family or titles CoA
- You can change your family CoA and titles CoA, but they are separate from each other.
- It is possible that if you change a CoA, but dont have the related banner of the correct type, that it will not be changed. For example captured or artifact based banners would retain their connection to the CoA source they were made for.
- If you have the correct banner type, change your CoA and it remains unupdated, I do believe that might be a bug. But its hard to tell without more information.

I've read through the whole thread now to make sure I get the situation and and question correct, and to put it in relation to what was said in the DD half a year ago.

The main purpose of that DD was to display the first set of artifacts to the public, and among those also show off that we had the capability to create more dynamic artifacts that could adapt their looks. In this case, this was the sets of banners, and us showing that they will show the heraldry. My wording of this was more for flair, and to partly hint with the duck coat of arms at the highly requested CoA designer to come (unsure if that had been fully revealed at that stage yet).

So in short, we do not have a system for picking the specific flag design right now, it wasnt part of our original design nor has that capability been mentioned with any of the other assets in the Royal Court (like picking box or cupboard designs). We do allow certain player control in what's created though through events, like what type of weapon we want a smith to make, but not an actual crafting/designer menu.

Partially I see it being like that because the ruler isnt the crafter themselves, and thus trust their artisans in what they will create. But if this is a feature that's highly requested and asked for by many, It could maybe be something for us to have a look at in the future at some point. Our games and their systems improve constantly after all :)
