When I try to hover over a tradition tree to preview the available traditions, I can't. Instead, the tradition tree to the left of it is highlighted instead.
Strangely enough, hover-over is the only functionality that is affected. I can press all the "adopt" buttons and if I adopt a tradition tree, I can hover over the individual traditions inside it without problems.
DLC: Plantoids, Horizon Signal, Leviathans and Utopia
Mods: Mass Effect - The Asari Civilisation, Stellar Trails Disabler, Beautiful Universe v2.0, Yukari Voice, Floating Drone Robot Portraits.
None of the mods affect UI in any way. Also tested with no mods enabled and the issue issue still occurs.
I'm playing on a laptop screen, maximum resolution 1366x768, Borderless Window (but the issue is also reproducible in normal Fullscreen). UI scale set to x0.7. I have also tested 0.8 and 0.9, the problem still occurs on them but to a lesser extent. The smaller the scale, the worse it is.
Here are some screenshots to demonstrate (scale = 0.7):
You can't see the cursor but I am hovering over the "Ascension Perks" section and you can even see its tooltip, but the Prosperity tree is highlighted as if I was mousing over that.
But when I move the cursor over the Prosperity tree to check out the traditions, they disappear and the tree left of it (Domination) is highlighted instead.
Pretty much the only trees that seem to function correctly are Expansion and Domination. It seems that the closer I am to the top left corner of the screen, the closer my cursor is aligned with where the window thinks my cursor is.
As a temporary bandaid I can set my UI scale to x1.0, which seems to be the only scale that works correctly... but I really hope I won't have to for long because that's way too huge for me. I can't tolerate the default scale at this resolution ,_,
