I really don't understand this.

Code:
223541 = {
	name="Baudouin"
	[COLOR="#FFD700"]dynasty=167[/COLOR]
	martial=6
	diplomacy=7
	intrigue=4
	stewardship=7
	religion="catholic"
	culture="frankish"
	add_trait="charitable"
	[COLOR="#FFD700"]add_trait="inbred"[/COLOR]
	add_trait="amateurish_plotter"
	father=223540
	mother=223522
	1177.1.1 = {
		birth="1177.1.1"
	}
	1186.8.2 = {
		death="1186.8.2"
	}
}

Why is he of his own dynasty (neither of his parents are of House Montferrato, nor can I find anyone else who is) and inbred? Both of these decisions seem very strange.

His father is correct, and I'm guessing the dynasty is because he was known as 'Baudouin of Monferrato', after the county his father up to great-grandfather held. My guess is that he is given his own dynasty because he had no contact with his Italian family, but more with his mother's Frankish one. This is IMO a good reason to give him another dynasty.

Inbred is probably a legacy of before leprosy was added, he should have leper instead.

I don't really agree, but I appreciate you clearing that up for me. I don't know much about these guys.

There's no evidence to suggest he was a leper, though.

There is no evidence of existence for many of the characters in game. + You've already decided to give Richard Lionheart the Homosexual trait based on enemy propaganda. Where is the error in giving him the leper trait if Richard Lionheart was given the Homosexual trait? :)

If you're going to play Devil's Advocate, then yes, by all means make him an inbred leper.

Richard Lionheart won't be made a homosexual, SoH has suggested that, but that doesn't mean it will automatically be added. :)

Baudouin V should be of the Aleramici dynasty, just like his father, so that will be changed. Also the inbred trait will be removed.
