What is the reasoning for the Beute Firefly being in Phase A? I am not saying it is 'wrong' or a terrible idea, I'm just asking what the thought process behind it was.
One of the earlier Dev Diaries mentioned this bit: "Players can also find the single British Firefly historically captured by the division’s Aufklärung-Abteilung (recon battalion) in Normandy." (found here: http://www.eugensystems.com/steel-division-normandy-44-gameplay-three-phase/).

I'm fairly sure it was also confirmed somewhere else that the reason for the Firefly being Phase A was it's use by the recon guys. And I like the idea, it's a nice gamble that can totally ruin your day if you play your cards wrong. ;)

I don't believe AA defence should be cheaper at all, as it is a single AA unit is enough to pin down several squads of infantry within moments from 800m away and is equally effective at breaking tanks morale. They're far more useful than just for defence against planes and I think this is often overlooked. I would argue its effectiveness against air is what needs to be looked at but not the cost.

It's not clear to me how "best players" are defined - it seems a lot of your replays are against the same people. Only one of them I remember playing a 1v1 game against. I guess we play at different times of day. We should play though :)

Also, you do know you can give orders during deployment, right? I didn't check all the replays, but it seems you didn't in one of the ones I'm looking at.

PaK 36 37mm reduce the price to 25
This is the only part I strongly disagree with. They are well worth it now, I don't see why they need to be 10 points cheaper.

Other than that I agree that Brit heavy tanks should be later. The rest is meh, could be right, could be wrong, I don't have a strong opinion.

I... pretty much agree with everything you said. Well done.

My personal observation is that artillery and especially mortars are way out of line. Mortars aim too quickly, fire too quickly, and with too much accuracy. They're very frustrating to play against, and have very little counterplay because counter battery is basically useless.
I played against someone in a 10v10 with whatever the max number of M21 MMCs is, and it was hell to play against, especially since units no longer stop flashing when spotted, (I didn't know this). So I ended up having my AT and support field guns getting systematically wiped out.

This is my experience as well. Skilled players will just click-delete things the second they see them and counter battery is basically useless.

Right now the high-end gameplay meta is probing forward with units trying to deprive the enemy of eyes so he can't mortar you anymore, and whoever plays that game better wins.
