Dave, the session two weeks ago was dominated almost entirely by the War Between the Germans. HoG and KJ spent almost the entire session locked in a war that seesawed back and forth before finally resulting in a decisive Brandenburger victory, for which KJ extracted two provinces from Austria. As an almost sidelight to the whole thing, Venice managed to beat up Elijah a bit as your sub in Spain; Elijah offered a quick peace and mis-clicked, offering Liguria, which Venice accepted to end the war, but all agreed that what was intended and more acceptable was Napoli, so that got edited in between the sessions.
The second session you missed was somewhat less eventful, mostly because Austria was being ghosted and everyone else was catching their breath. France and Spain fought a war, however, which no one paid any attention to (I didn't even know it was being fought! :rofl: ). However, France pummelled Spain and took three provinces IIRC; Piemont was one and I can't recall the others; you'll have to download the save to see.
However, things are about to get interesting for England, because Cromwell is in town and I'm about to be forced into making choices about religion, etc. Brandenburg is pushing England to convert, Austria has been pushing England to stay Catholic, and something has to give.
By the way, in the Austria v. Brandenburg war, Austria ended up hoist on its petard when Brandenburg managed to send an army off to take control of the Mexican provinces you had ceded to Austria (can't imagine WHY you might have done THAT ). Austria never was able to get that back, putting them at a serious warscore deficiency. :rofl:

Jeebus Christos, I'm beginning to think we need to scrap this game and start over. Obviously the logistics of the current roster just don't work out.

I'd say the more important concern is HolisticGod. If he is still absent without leave because of computer issues, that raises the possibility of a postponement. But otherwise, it's just a matter of subbing.
Actually in total France has taken 4 Provinces from Spain. Also the sub last week lost Granada, I'm not sure if via event or absent. Spain only rallyed vs myself. Eli did a much better job than the last sub, but when he did fight I just had to push and push and it was like playing a weak player, he was busy elsewhere.....Chatting, etc...
To be honest, Dave has missed two sessions, HG is going on 2. I'm not sure what to say. We're having a hard time filling this game up. I'm seriously beginning to doubt whether or not it shall ever be completed let alone continued another week?

... on another note. If we're past the Spanish Bankruptcies, would the editor in chief please edit those Austrian provinces in Mexico back to Spain? (I'm at work so I don't know the id's off hand)
