Hello. I'd like to ask some help about bad personal traits for first. These traits are;
Gluttonous - how to avoid it, how to lose it?
Shy - how to avoid it, how to lose it?
Craven - how to avoid it, how to lose it?

Good traits...

Zealous - how to get that trait?

For second I'd like to ask how to get better relations with pope and his church, what to do and what not to do? Maybe someone can help me out with those problems :)
Thank you.

I think that gluttonous is random when you are an adult. I have normally seen it due to childhood events.

I know that there is a random event that has to do with hedge knights coming to your castle. One of the choices lets you gain the "gregarious" trait, and that will overwrite the "shy" trait. You can also become gregarious in an event during a feast. I have seen the event with a shy character, so I know that it should work.

There is an event in the grand hunt that allows you to lose the "craven" trait.

You can get "zealous" by random events. One has to do with your wife wanting new fashion.

I don't really know how to avoid any traits. A lot of the events are random. I hope I have helped you.

It is often suggested to raise your heir and spare yourself, despite not being the most skilled leader around. While good stats are a plus, good traits are much more so (each good one basically corresponds to 20 or 10 points of diplomacy since you only get +1 for every 2 points of state diplomacy) - you can also teach your heir until he is about 15 and then turn him over to a specialized courtier to give him a good ending education.

That said, follow FromasterG's suggestions and use the feasts and hunts to improve yourself.

Thank you very much for your answers. I have 75 hours of gameplay, but still some things are mystery to me about traits. But maybe you know more about pope and his church? How to make him like myself and so on?

Easiest way I've found to get the Pope to like you is to get the Free Investiture law and appoint an anti-Pope :)

Aside from that avoid having the Sin traits if possible (lustful, gluttonous etc), go on Crusade, and get your piety as high as possible. Holy wars can help increase Piety, as does helping defend other Catholics being attacked by Muslims.

But at same time Rado, it lowers churchs authority and holy orders will not rise...if you make anti pope. But crusades and defending wars are good idea.

You can also get Diligent in the Grand Hunt, as well as Brave. The Grand Hunt is well worth the minor chance of getting maimed/killed if you need those traits.

There's also an event that gives you the "True Christian Knight" modifier. It requires you to have Brave, Diligent, and Humble, no Sins, a martial of 8+, 25+ Piety, and not be a Heretic. +5 Church Opinion and some monthly Piety. It triggers faster if you have Zealous, Crusader, and/or 100+ Piety.

I've lost craven trait on a grand hunt plenty of times, but when can you get brave? I've never had that happen.
