Aztecs don't arrive

In short, events happen according to save games but aztecs and the messages about them are nowhere to be seen. My game was originally started during previous patch (probably 1.06b) if that has anything to do with it. I tested it in couple of new games and there they aztecs arrive normally so I'm wondering just breaks randomly or with games started in previous patches?

I'd guess it's cause you started a game with a previous patch. Stuff is guaranteed to break

Same here. But is there any way to trigger the invasion by yourself? Or any chance it'll be fixed?
I've spend to much time on my current game, so no chance of restarting it.
