Aydın Anadolu AAR - A rough Translation of 'Aydin Anatolia'

Start Date: 1 January 1410
No starting wars without an eligible justification(except the odd one or two).
Top Priority; don’t get gobbled up by our Ottoman neighbour.
Settings are on normal and lucky nations are at none.
Updates will vary in 'beefiness' depending on whether it's the weekend, or the holidays.​

There are two rising nations on either side of the Bosporus and their constant rivalry can be tracked back through many ages.
There are also a handful of minor nations throughout Anatolia; the same can be said for the Greek Neighbours across the sea too.
The crusades from the west seem to have been dwindling for quite some time and one of the last remnants of that frontier is to the south on the quaint Island of Rhodes.
Yet beyond this, our current position is not going to last if we do not act.
Young nations such as ourselves get swooped up, eaten and forgotten too soon before its presence is truly significant.

Will the first Malik, Junayed Aydinoglu lead this somewhat uncivilised State into significance?

Our neighbours named the ‘Karman’ are quite formidable as a nation and Diplomatic relations above neutral will be imperative.

The Malik accepts the friendly approach and proposes a royal marriage, thus fixing their threat level to a minimum.

Our first move is a move toward free trade. Our current economic standpoint means that investment in merchants is never going to happen.

Our most daring move yet - to stamp out opposition in the south. We use our Tribal feud Casus Belli to stamp out these contenders off of the map.

Pah! Their over confidence of a 'superior offensive' will be their downfall. Our ‘Daring move’ seems to have paid off.

Sooner rather than later, they become engulfed and gobbled by our mighty army of two thousand.

But it seemed that after the first resounding failure, the Mentese had asked for help. Our neighbours to the east, Karman as well as our mountainous brethren to the north, Candar have opted to ally with the weak.

We mustered some much needed horsemen and decide to charge the invaders to the north. Another more ‘daring’ move by the commanding Malik.

Rightfully so...

Miraculously though, we manage to overcome our enemies and the offensive was successful. Now we intend to chase and partition the remaining forces.

Annexation is our only policy toward these fools. They agree upon marriage but still decide to attack despite the warm relations?

If it weren’t for those rebels that appeared in Hamid that had wiped out 1000 out of 4000 troops in the enemy army, we wouldn’t be here in such a small space of time.

It's totally possible homy_dog - I have an Aydin AAR that I've stopped because I've got massive writers block. But it's actually going well. I can't wait to see where this one takes us!
