Hi, I've just started my first proper 1936 campaign as the US, i've only had the game a few days but i've been reading the wiki and the forum for some tips. Theres a guide on the wiki for creating a facist US scenario which i decided to do. I've been gradually moving my autocratic slider and excepting any events which make me more right wing or autocratic.
I've been beefing up my industry and preparing for simultaneous war with canada and britain when i'm autocratic enough to join the axis. The guide says the the UK will use approximatly half of it's force to invade the us and outlines a few locations were it may attack on the east coast. So i've been building an infantry and garrison wall on all the east coast beeches. Does any one know how big i have to make these garrisons? Will 2 or 3 units in each province be enough or do i have to make them even stronger?
Does anyone have any other tips for this kind of scenario? I assume canadas army will be tiny with almost no airforce or navy. Is it worth building a group of naval bombers to help against the royal navy when it eventually comes?
