Playing Austria and with the HRE formed now, I decided to become archiduke in 1520's. I saw there is no way to pass to an administrative monarchy, but it says it can not be manual. any way to trigger the event?

No, archduke is forever.
It is a good government form though, as + diplo relations is stronger than any other government bonus, if you know what to do with them.

At some point late in the game you'll be able to switch to a Republic by event. not sure what the exact triggers are though.
I haven't done Austria yet, but isn't the Privilegium Maius like, a century before the game starts? How is Austria not an Archduchy from the start?
Thanks all. It is the worst govt. you could have. No administrative monarchy, nor CB on republics. Absolutely worthless, and loosing a lot of money...
If you're playing Austria how it's meant to be played, it's great. Otherwise, pretty crap. You could always let Peasants or Revolutionaries break the government, that should work.
