Boost the economy of your City with a financial district, and use your funds to invest in the best industries for your population. Financial Districts is a mini-expansion from Colossal Order that adds the new feature “Investments” and more than a hundred assets to the game.

Financial Districts’ key features include:

Investments
Invest your money wisely and improve the lives of your citizens.
Many sectors await your support such as deathcare, healthcare, oil, ore, farming, generic industry, and logistics. Keep track of your investments with the new stock trading tab.

Stock exchange
Level up your investment funds with the stock exchange. This new building also unlocks the tax income bonus for office zone buildings in its area.

Bank buildings
Money, money, money! Banks add a new service to your city and improve its safety thanks to their transport vans that,
while collecting cash from commercial zone buildings, decreasing the criminality rate in the area.

Financial District Specialization

Unlock a new district for office zones when you reach the “Big Town” milestone.
Financial Districts feature a new visual style, and generate higher taxes than basic office zones but decrease happiness.
The tax income bonus increases if a stock exchange is nearby.

I have encountered a problem with the African Vibes radio station: No matter if I activate or deactivate it via Steam, there is no download activity and in-game the radio station shows up as DLC I haven't bought (even though on Steam, it shows up as owned).

I have already restarted Steam, tried to repair the game files, empty the download cache and deactivate other DLC (which works fine – apparently only the African Vibes radio is affected). Does anyone else have these issues as well? Is there possibly a problem with the files?

I've purchased the expansion and my game has updated to the latest version on Xbox One. Interestingly the release number is showing as 1.16.0-f2, as opposed to f3 as displayed in the dev diary.
Anyway, there is no colour correction option in the game options, and there is also no option to change the building style on any of the buildings where it should work.

Is this by design for console owners?
The dev diary did state those changes are for all players...

Actually just checked and the variation building style does appear on the correct buildings, i.e. The large bank and the large plaza. For some reason I thought it also applied to the smaller plazas from the P&P expansion and the Stock Exchange.

The color correction is not available though. Shame, that would have been excellent.

Seems a little pointless to have a new option like that only applicable to such a small number of buildings compared to how many buildings are in the game and DLCs.

This looks amazing, and so does the map pack, happy with another DLC as always gives us extra items on the console. However is there anyway that we can get some of the pc features of pick mod, paint tools and more tiles (15) will be made available as on console in a special DLC, we are soooo limited in what we can do with this brilliant game (even it if means different version for old gen / new gen consoles)

I have one complaint about this otherwise good DLC, that I hope the devs come back and update:

The glass towers growing on top of otherwise handsome brick-and-mortar columned 19th century / early 20th century Greek-inspired banks and exchanges, is really immersiom-breaking.

It is nice that I can prevent them from upgrading, so I can keep my Wall Street-looking theme on a few particular city blocks. But it would be nice to extend the financial district into a large downtown, separate from my "uptown" of dense commercial buildings, a la NYC-inspired. (Uptown Manhattan is where Time's Square, Central Park and shopping is located. Uptown is very tourist-heavy, and where party-seekers go to have fun. Downtown Manhattan is where Wall Street and the rest of the financial district is located, as well as city government. People generally don't go here for fun.)

PDX did great with the Tech district towers. But they really dropped the ball on the financial towers. So I'm wondering and hoping this DLC gets an architectural face-lift. Any chances it might? Maybe put out a content creator pack to replace the upgraded buildings with real and unique financial office towers, and still keep the handsome greek-style low-level brick and mortar buildings that get completely replaced by the new towers if you don't "historic" those buildings and allow them to upgrade as buildings normally do everywhere else throughout the game?
