Autosave?

Am I missing an autosave setting somewhere? I play windowed and twice now I've accidentally clicked on the "close window" button, which has caused me to lose hours worth of city building. Super frustrating.

It doesn;t have the feature by default, but there is a mod on Steam.

There are others out there though.

I just get in the habit of pressing F1 before I do anything major, F4 will load the last quick save so great for experimenting....
