Hey guys,

A nifty new mechanic would be an option to automatically increase autonomy until unrest is zero (or lowest). This would save a lot of time that I, and surely a lot of players, spend after every conquest manually raising autonomy.

Some players actually lower autonomy after conquest to trigger the revolt and be done with it. I personally rarely, if ever, raise autonomy, it´s usually not worth it.

As a quality of life improvement, yeah, but we'd need smaller increments than 25% to make it work well.

Some players actually lower autonomy after conquest to trigger the revolt and be done with it. I personally rarely, if ever, raise autonomy, it´s usually not worth it.
This, the quicker it's over the better.

This one is nuanced enough where automation would consistently produce quite suboptimal results (as opposed to say religious conversion which would only be marginally suboptimal in most cases).

What I would rather see is a legitimate method to handle a large number of province interactions quickly; IE access to options like "sort by unrest", which would allow one who anticipates long periods of -unrest to lower autonomy to do so quickly in provinces that can take it, or to raise it in provinces with positive unrest after going > 100% OE, and so on.

That this wasn't a release or soon-after ability added to LA is pretty disappointing, even more so when a similarly useful feature (sorting in the ledger for creating buildings based on province values) was removed. These aren't things that are legit automation candidates, but the UI for them could nevertheless stand huge improvements.

I'm not the pro in this field, but I suspect a better UI to be significantly more straightforward to implement. For example, some method (like, say, shift-click) to select a range of sorted (IE sortable using button presses at the top of the macro builder screen) provinces then press the button once to raise autonomy in all of them as opposed to creating an algorithm that tries to auto-raise without being an active detriment...or having to do this province by province with hundreds of buttons that are overlapped at most zoom values.

Not only that, but if the UI implementation is solid the difference in time saved by the player would be small, maybe even in favor of the strict UI improvement; you wouldn't be trying to compensate the really suboptimal stuff...you'd just raise or lower exactly as you like quickly and with a tiny fraction of the inputs currently required to do so.

Oh yeah, a better UI is mcuh easier to implement, but I would still like more automatization for repetitive small decisions that I could leave to a script. Some simple stuff like Auto raising at war, or being able to boost Stability when its below 0 automatically (providing you have the points, with the option of turning it off at will) would be the best thingfor this game alongside with better tooltips and a better UI.
