After 1.14, it seems that closing the battle and siege result notifications automatically unpauses the game. Personally, I find this incredibly annoying. The popup blocks part of the map when I'm trying to plan my next move, but clicking it away unpauses the game, potentially costing precious days. I know I could slow the game down before dismissing the popup, but imho that is unreasonably tedious.
Has there been any word on whether this is intentional or a bug?
Alternatively, is there a setting somewhere that can change this behaviour?
If the automatic unpausing is by design and there's no setting, is a compromise possible? Right now, hitting the space bar when the popup appears unpauses the game. Rather than unpausing, can it be changed to pausing the game for real? i.e., a pause that persists after dismissing the popup.
