  • Supreme Ruler: Cold War
Hi - excuse a noob question, but this is bugging me. I'm getting to know Supreme Ruler by messing about in the Sandbox (playing Sweden :D). Can I stop all automatic fabrication of military units? I've tried all the various settings and buttons, but it keeps producing units whatever I do... I can slow it down, but not stop it completely. Is that right?

Lock minister from garrison control and find the little menu about auto-building or something, disable auto-build on all of them and then deactivate (not scrap or destroy) your military fabrication buildings, maybe clear your build production and que too.

Lock minister from garrison control

That just controls garrisons.

Can I stop all automatic fabrication of military units?

Theres a couple/three auto build/continuous build features in the game you have to turn off and clean out. In your defense tab under fabrications, turn off the auto-build feature for all four fabrications. Just below that box is a continuous build button, make sure it is off.
Now go to your fabrcation types (land, air, naval, missile). Pick a type. Click all on all production. Empty your build Que. Manually click on the top unit in Production. On the right side of the box you will see a box for continiuous-build and auto-deploy. Make sure continous build is off. Do this for each unit in production by going down the list (once you hit the box, it goes to the next unit) Repeat for each Fabrication type. This will clear out all your continuious build orders the AI has stored and stop further auto building.
