I was wondering if I could get some advice as to how to make populations emigrate automatically from a set of core provinces to colonies with populations that are not over a certain percentage of the overall population.

I've been messing around with pop_growth in order to create a more realistic and challenging population rate, so that war actually costs men and can ruin a nation. I'd like to make it so that a population from core provinces, such as those that ENG considers core, can migrate to captured/owned provinces that contain a fairly minority population. Case in point, I'd like to make it so that British citizens can migrate easily to Africa after I colonize the continent, at a rate that is fairly realistic/accurate.

I'd also like to be able to overcome a problem, where, after I engage in a long war, the population of a place such as Russia after the Crimean war is decimated in the provinces that I take control of. I'd like to be able to enable British pops to migrate to these Crimean provinces.

Does anybody have any advice on how I could do such things? Would I have to delve into emigration rates? Could I make it so that population in my core provinces emigrates when province size is above X value (Whereas X value is linked to the overall scenario year)?

Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated. If I can get any results than I'd be more than happy to share my findings with the community.

Populations can be cut by war-fare but certain areas where war is happening will not be depopulated, That is unless the opposing forces built their army from the provinces that the war is happening an how many you actually kill in battle. For example when i play with Britain, I turn all my Irish pops into soldiers and leave the British pops to RGO work or Factory work etc, When I've come to the end of my game, Due to some major wars, the Irish population has sometimes been wiped out. So War does cost and ruin a nation depending on how many pops are soldiers in that nation you are fighting and so forth. I do wish though that you can script in Genocides of natives sometimes

Sorry but I'm not a modder and I only have basic skills with that an can't help you on that side with population flow.
