Automatic peace offer?

I'm having a real ragging moment in my current game. Three dukes have revolted (as soon as my heir took power, everyone hated him). So they are trying to overthrow my current ruler. They have bested my armies but I have called the King of Sweeden, Norway and France to help. They are moping the floor with the rebels but some reason, i get this message. "We accept your offer of peace" and my king abdicates. I'm never given a peace offer, this just happens.

Does anyone have any clue why this is happening?

you probably had -100% warscore. You can then be forced whatever truce your enemy wants.

you probably got prisoned. it makes you down -100% warscore instantly then peace offer is auto accepted.

Yup -100% warscore. I didn't know that could auto force me to accept a peace treaty. I guess that makes sense.
