The Stellaris mod system seems not really user friendly, I'm wondering there is no function/tool to resolve all the growing compatibility conflicts. So I ask first, does anyone know such a function/ tool?
There are now nearly 17000 user made objects (on Steam for Stellaris). If you install more then 5 (similar real) mods you are getting high probably a conflict and you need install such "compatibility patch". But if you have more then 100 mods installed you need probably an unmanageable number of patches (the patch of a patch needs also patch and so on).
But the crux is, the problem is very primitive and can basically be solved easily, as usually the conflict is just the file, not the details in the file itself. If you look on some patches, there are all very basic text merging without real conflict.
So the logical conclusion is simply a tool that automatically generates a kind of megapatch (or separate patches for every conflict) for all installed mods.
Maybe this would be at best a feature for the Paradoxos Mod Manager (but the author seems not active anymore).
If not, that should be easy to solve by someone with solid programming skills. In fact, this should be a feature from the official launcher!?
