Loving the game thus far but this automated sectors thing is becoming unmanageable (by definition!). Case in point: I have 10 planets in 7 different sectors.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like stationary and spreadsheets as much as the next nerd, but this bureaucratic takeover is killing my bottom line.

Sectors were an interesting idea, back in the day, but they've been systematically diluted over the last few years and I think they've now reached a point where they're interfering with the game more than they were meant to benefit it. It might be time to accept that the great Sectors experiment has ran its course.

IMHO Sectors need to be:-
- player definable (which also enabled more effective use of the automation settings), like they used to be; or,
- reduced to planet level automation (you know, like they do in every other 4X game that works).

This bean-counter rebellion needs to be put down!
