Auto transport is causing some weirdness now. When an army is sent and need to split to complete the auto transport, moving the army before the others arrive will cause loss of control of the army. It will do whatever it can to return to the selected province for the transport. This includes retreating from combat or teleporting several provinces if the movement is repeatedly selected. You can't manually take control of an army until the transport job finishes, including moving the ships themselves to try to cancel it.

So the question comes down to whether it's intended in order to make the AI actually able to use auto transport, or if it's some unintended side effect.
