One of the first things the game teaches to the player is that diplomats should never be idle. If they've no urgent task to accomplish, they should be sent to improve relations with neighbours, allies, vassals, etc.
Needless to say, this means the player is soon busy with a lot of micro-management.
Then, how about a feature automatically sending diplomats to improve relations? The diplomatic UI should allow the player to choose how many envoys he wishes to allocate to "auto improve relations". Then the chosen diplomats are automatically sent to relevant countries to improve relations, stay there until they reach +100 relations, then they come back and are sent elsewhere.
The player should be able to call back those diplomats anytime, revoking the "auto improve relations".
The player should be able to set which countries are "relevant". One easy solution is to use the diplomatic feedback feature, auto sending diplomats in countries where the player has a friendly, ally or overlord relationship.
