I played quite 2-3 36 scenarios with Germany and I noticed that something is different about auto-promotion. Very few leaders are promotedat all. I had a vast army, but not even Major Generals are promoted. In vanilla HoI2, Guderian and Manstein were promoted fairly early in the game, yet in DD, they remain MGenerals almost for ever. I only noticed Rundstend as a FM.

P.S. I even built 200 V1's at some point to see if anyone is promoted but very few actually did. A big difference from HoI2.

:)

Indeed, it's nothing like the old system.

I was having trouble as Germany to get good leaders, Germany only has Mj Gen commando's :S

I don't know how does it look for Germany, but as Soviet Union I had no problems with leaders... 11 FM, nice bunch of Generals, and huuge ammount of Lt. Generals... But air and naval commanders are barely promoted...
