Well I had a good long post but the forum screwed up

I'm curious about Austrian/Bohemian/Hungarian events.

As Austria, I am supposed to get The Death of King Lajos of Hungary in 1526. Instead I got The Death of János Zápolya. For one this makes no sense because they are dated the other way around in the text file so I don't know where the game is getting its info from. I know it's the wrong way around because The Death of János Zápolya has an in game description mentioning 1538 and its happening in 1526..
This is really annoying to say the least as I also seem not to be getting my Bohemian inheritance event dated the same, 1526.
Can this be fixed, even though it *should* be right according to the text files? If not I'd like to mod The Death of János Zápolya to give Austria hungarian cultures and let it annex Hungary. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

A good place from where to start learning EU2 scripting.

It is a valid complain. People have the right to expect that major events are going to happen in their games unless they change history. That Hungary survives changes European history in a major way, and it has happened in my games a couple of times.

Otherwise what is the point in making a historic mod?
