Austrian missions should replace claims on China with Spain

Austria was never much of a colonizer IRL. The farthest they got into China was a port in Tianjin. Weirdly the mission give half of China but not including Tianjin. The entire thing is nonesense. However if we were to give only one province from China it would be kinda lame though.

The solution of Austrian colonial ambition is a PU on Spain. French mission already included it. IRL Austria was the other contestant to war of Spanish succesion. If Austria manage to beat France and Spain it gets PU on Spain, and by extension control of their colony. It is the more sensible option to achieve the same effect.

This seems like a sensible solution. Also I beleive this should thread should be moved to suggestions discussions as this is more of a suggestions rather than a general comment/discussion.

You're already going to get hapsburgs on throne because of the Spanish event, so getting pu through claim throne is good enough

Getting claims through missions is inherently nonsensical. What difference does it make where those claims are?

Missions are already poor design but making everything in them sheer random nonsense with no connecting to one another wont make things better. What will we do next then? Ottoman mission tree with the horde path wich requires you to conquer Mongolia before you get a claim on Byzantium?

That is simple. Just move the mission elsewhere in another tree. After claims in India the funny Austrian Australia can be the end quest.
