For this mission it requires you to conquer and own 7 provinces in the croatia areas, which seems fair until you realize that it is slightly different than most other austrian missions. It requires you to personally own them, different to the usual own or have a subject own that is typical of austria, this is annoying for me as I would not be able to get this mission until I integrate my buddy Hungary. I wasn't sure if this was intentional or simply an oversight to an otherwise great mission tree.
