i managed too without cheaing, but it was terribly difficult . worth it though i ended as the 2nd most powerful country

Australia had something like 8 million inhabitants back in 1940, that was only 2.5x times population of Finland. Of course Australia is/was a minor nation.
yes im very aware of that however over 1 million australians served and it was more like 7 million inhabitants actually so that means 1/3.5 men served , compared to the major powers this wasnt that impressive but a solid effot for a small nation, in reallity it would be impossible to make australia into an empire but its fun to in the game haha.
NZ may be even more small, but I read somewhere it dedicated one of the highest number of troops per capita in the world (just short of sending the entire male population! :wacko.

I seriously doubt that considering that New Zealand doesn't even have conscription.
yer i also doubt it, since countries like soviet union had women and men in the army. and australia was conscipting any non essential man and sending them off to new gineau in desert como! lol did NZ have conscription tho?

I believe that was for the first world war, not the second.
I actually wrote a series of events years ago for HOI 2 where Australia anschlussed NZ and demanded most of Indonesia with some extra manpower, few cores and IC. It set it up so by 1938 you had about 70 IC. Was a really fun game, sided with the soviets ended up with most of Asia , had a real hard fight with the Japanese navy and their forces all over China and the mainland.
nice, yea my empire that i made consisted of most of asia , all of south america , the netherlands , belgium , mediteranian islands , great britan and much of the former british empire, i was pretty dog but, i took all briish territory when they were busy fightig germany
