Are you aiming for exclusively historical flavour/added flavour or are you also adding in additional paths to specific events, alternate possibilities to leadership, etc?

I don't know how to change leaders or the politicians as yet and most events are purely historical. However there are/will be many events which you will have to decide upon. Some decisions are actually 2 bad choices and some will be ahistorical. Once I've gained the experience I'll look at a whole host of ahistorical changes maybe even turning on Britain herself! This will be some months away though.

Looks like I did stuff up a few things, continually finding events not firing, and game crashes on load and upon event effects taking place. Gotta love 'mods.csv' files, "You're right, this isn't going to be simple"

I recently toyed around with an Aussie mod meself, I just made a little event chain where there is a coup then you can change your govt. to a communist or a fascist one, then annex NZ after a while. Been waiting for some good historical event mods for Aus, keep up the good work!

The only problems I can see is that our arid interior and low population means that there aren't too many provinces in Australia in DH. Though in the mess that was HoI3 , that was fixed a little.

Cool mod! May hafta add that into this at some point, (if you're interested) And I've got 97 historical events for Australia, and that's just for the Great War! In first post I've said 97 + 2 because the 2 one is a poem from WW I and the other is some useless info about the poem. So 97 really, alot of which have multiple options. As for the provincial count, the E3 map is the real answer, HOI 3 has little over DH (in my opinion) besides province count.

The spanner is in the works people... The events work GREAT but...... I need pre-requisites and triggers, I had all th Great War events firing, for a war that didn't even involve the empire LOL! Once this is fixed, and a touch of fine tuning it will be ready for release

Is this a mod where everything is meant to go historically, or you can sort of choose your own path to develop the nation (eg. Further immigration from Europe, economic policies etc)?

There is a slight chance to go paternal autocrat, and a few a-historical decisions however they are expensive decisions as far as materials, money and dissent. and I've added some Anzac legends events to as far as those who truly stood out during the Great War (however this is later balanced out with their deaths and discharges)

I've got little experience with event coding so alternate history and ai switches etc will come a lot later.

If you get stuck with a bugged event, you can post it and we can check it for you to start you off. The event commands.txt file inside \db\events explains the syntax for events and their commands.

I hear you on that one! Huge part of why I'm doing this project. I even found that a lot of Australia's navy is missing from the '14 scenario, even ship builds in the OOB files lol not that I blame the devs or game designers, As far as I know none of them are Australians so history is mainly viewed through the major nations parts in the war giving us a side-mention. (Not said to insult anyone). Australia nor New Zealand gets the credit we deserve for our huge part in both world wars. (Correct me if I'm wrong please about the devs and designers)

Considering we were only a nation of 4 million people in 1914, sending over 400,000 troops to the other side of the world just for the Empire is a pretty big contribution. The New Zealand division was really instrumental in both World Wars, and did exceptionally well in North Africa.
