OK. I think it is a simple misunderstanding. I too thought the games where postponed this week due to old mate being abscent for exams. Had it not been for the fact that I live in teamspeak when I'm not out or at work, I wouldn't have been here either. I do also recall saying last week that if we were going to play monday we would need to make it an early start like 5/6pm as I had early 5/6 am start. No one but me and Rastius showed up at that time and no one else showed until 7pm onwards last night, so in a sense Tonic and me wasn't the only ones that didn't listen properly. I'm home and online now, so I am available to play from whenever tonight upto midnight my time at the latest. I also have sat/sun off and will know tomorrow whether or not I have Aussie day off. SE.

Polish defenses proved to be no match for the co-ordinated assault by Axis ground and air formations.
With the use of crack special air-landing troops and mobile armored units, Berlin forced the Warsaw administration into surrender when an almost defenderless Warsaw fell to the Axis only 10 days after hostilities commenced.
Late October
A massive assault by the Whearmacht and Luftwaffa against the Maginot Line at Strasbourg was repelled by French and Commonwealth forces.
General Gamelin skillfully led his brave troops who, with the help of Commonwealth troops, evicted the Boch invaders.
After the early setbacks against the Maginot Line, German Generals shifted their focus and forces North and re-grouped along the Luxumbourg frontier before occupying the happless nation.
The Axis then moved against French forces under General Doumenc deployed around Reims.
Dogged French resistance and rushed Commonwealth reinforcements won the day against superior enemy numbers.
Even the landing of German paratroopers into the area could not secure them victory.
In the air French pilots and their machines have proved more than a match for their fascist counterparts.

In a pact brokered by the foreign ministry of Russia and diplomatic envoys from Germany, a lasting peace was brokered between our nations. The planned German invasion of Poland would see Eastern Poland ceded to the USSR after the Germans successful conquest of the country in exchange for large shipments of oil and a rock solid Non Aggression Pact. The deal also recognized Russia's rightful claims to the Baltic States, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. It also recognized our right to Bessarabia and stretches of Finnish territory needed for the security of Leningrad and Murmansk.
War erupted within a week after the signing of the deal. The German and Italian alliance found themselves stuck in a battle of life and death against the British and French lead Commonwealth alliance. Early newspaper reports from western Europe claim that Poland had fell in a mere 10 days, Yugoslavia had also been invaded and carved up between Germany and Italy. Now several massive battles comprising nearly 1'000'000 troops, planes and veihicles are reported to be raging along the Franco-Belgian border. Moskva continues to watch and monitor events closely as they unfold in the west.
In the east, a border clash against Imperial Japanese forces near Khalkin Ghol has ended in defeat for Japan. It seems that 37mm guns were no match for the 137mm thick armour of our new KV-1 heavy tanks and their 150mm main cannons. Japan has accepted defeat and sent emmissaries to Stalins palace in the Kremlin begging for peace and a future non aggression pact. After some hard negotiations a peace deal and NAP was brokered.
As europe plunges itself into war yet again, Russia sits and continues with it's modernized army expansion. Although we are not at war, war is no stranger to us. Should the need arise, we shall be well prepared to meet it once again. SE.
I start at 7am tomorrow and finish at 3pm and then don't return to work until 9am the next day. I can play tomorrow night at this stage. I have sat/sun off but have a 4.30am start at work on monday, $50+ an hour so I am definately going in for that shift. So if we play sunday and early afternoon start would be preferrable. SE.

It is believed US Diplomats have conveyed to the Government of germany a generous Allied peace proposal that is consistant with germanies performance on the battlefield. The new germany will comprise the province of berlin only and the wermacht will be reduced to riverboats, 1 Ju52 and 3 infantry divisions. Word is the german govt is seriously considering the offer.

Field Marshal Mighty has denied the rumour but had no explanation for why he has been seen in recent days digging latrines.

CINCPAC told reporters that the medical, agricultural and educational skills of these small aid teams will do much to limit the harm and fear that japanese agression and militarism has brought to the region. In good news for Japan foreign observers have noted that the absence of a NAP will enable the early arrival of US aid groups in the home islands of Japan. In a surprise move, coinciding with US troop movements, the USSR mounted an unprovoked attack on the peaceful nation of Manchuria.
Imperial Japanese soldiers were dispatched but arrived only in time to see retreating soviet trucks creating dust clouds as they left.
A low ranking officer was quoted as saying, "The Chinese built a wall to keep the Mongols out, perhaps the Manchurians should too!"
Manchurian officials report the the Soviet raid was only successful in stealing several yaks from outlying farms, and all the bicycles from a local school which had been hurriedly evacuated only an hour before.
Local Manchurian Defence forces advance past a defeated soviet "KV super tank" which as you can see is little more than a truck with a tank turret on it

The international community should not listen to Japanese propaganda one bit. The smoldering truck in the picture is that of Japanese origins, if you look closely you'll see made in Taiwan engraved on the side of the turret

Malta fell to a mass Axis attack but only after the garrisson destroyed an Italian Airborne division.
This front remains quiet but the allied land, air and sea forces remain ever vigilant against attacks on Alexandria and the Levant.

Having wasted valuable time assaulting Malta the Nazi war machine turned its glare upon France.
A daring or stupid (depends on your point of view) assault was launched upon the Maginot line. Hard pressed French forces were relieved by a crack Australian army and the attackers were defeated. The Axis air force was ambushed over the Maginot line and ceased to be an effective fighting force. Facing the onset of winter and bereft of ideas the Nazi's dusted off the imperial Schlieffen plan of 1914 and attempted a march through Belgium only to face a wall of dug in allied infantry, anti tank guns and heavy artillery pieces.
Not a single French province has fallen. Its going to be a long winter, the Germans shall bleed.
