I sent a reply last night.

Operation Bilge Pump is a go

What's this? Operation Bilge Pump? The Allies have back stabbed me again and made secret plans to ally with Japan without asking me first. I might have to enter into early negotiatations with the Fuhrur for this treachery. SE.

Is it possible to play slower?

Lag last sesison really hurt us.

When Batavia was in the balance troops attacked 12+ hours after told to flank attack. We decided not to complain but thats compuined by the week we just lost in the Saudi campaign. 30 armor alnded in Medina are emant to blitz from Beirut to alexandria within 2-3 weeks before the Axis can react in order to take pressure off of SE. Nothing can fix that now but lets do what we can to stop itn happening again.

I had alook back at the OOB, the lag when you invaded batavia i guess was my old horse struggling with the 8 players and many many battles happening at once in Russia. Not much i can do about this unfortunantly unless someone with a better conn can host thats always going to be here so we dont get host change over bugs..... which are worse then lag :(

As for the lag at the end of the game, it does appear as though i am to blame. I must have bumped the + key when i was deploying my missilies on the 25th? the game log shows the speed changing on the 25th and then again on the 2nd down back to very slow once the lag was reported.

It appears i am to blame for that last lot of lag unfortunantly :(. It was not intentional and i have now removed the damn + key for our next session ^^.

If use want me to punish myself with a supply or oil edit penalty im ok to do that. as it does appear as though the speed was on Above Normal for like 7 days by my own stupidity. I only just noticed now as i was looking at the log to get info for my next AAR.

Ive removed the + key from my keyboard and to be honest i dont know how i bumped the speed up whilst deploying my missilies, its right there in the log in black and white, so i deffinntly must have bumped the speed up.

I didnt have my mini log open and was so damn busy i guess i didnt see the time going like grease lightning, a pain in the ass i know.... If it is any conselation no additional troops were SR'd to egypt prior to the allied alliance with saudi arabia.

It's impossible to give you your week back which is now the crux of our problem i know but i have remedy a solution to prevent my dumb ass from doing it again and am happy to wear a penalty on supps or oil (which im starting to run low on both).

I wont move to defend suez, to give allies time to break out, but ill let you know that i have many units in egypt including armour so even without my stupidity it is 100% certifiable that port said is safe unless you bring 50+ units. Ive had 6 armour in fayum for at least 2 months, and dispatched a further 6 sometime early september. Youll need alot more then 30 tanks to get over the water way suez - portsaid.

After looking back through the log i can only see that i did indeed frack up and am happy to come to some deal to ensure allies arent 'screwed over' by this, wether it be delayed intervention or some penalty to my resources i think is only fair.

The other option is that when my units arrive in the middle east (the ones i SR'd from Russia to near persia) i could edit remove the org from them to give allies some time back.

Im happy to compromise seeing as i screwed up...... But i still dont now how!?!?!?!? IT can only have been when i deployd my missilies as i had a substantial amount of them build on the 1 day. :(

Wilbry has also suffered a set back from this lag, i wont say where............ but just acknowledging i buggered my own allies as well as the Rastius.

Ive sent rastius a pm ill let him decide what will be fair, considering ive only my own stupidity for not realising i bumbed the + button, which isnt fair.

With my stupdity aside which was in the last 2minutes of the game for tihs session..............

Russian Front North collapses, Leningrad falls to Germany before Winter.

Another 6+ para mission performed with an estimated 30+ Russian units destroyed (at least 8 infantry, 9armour, 12? motorised).....

Russia withdraws in the south to a riverline position (preempting or preying to god for winter to come).

Road to Moscow not quite open however Konevs personal mail to his wife was captured at Kingisepp South West of Leningrad.

German Airforce helps Japan annex Netherlands.

German Airforce dispatched to North west Africa. Bismark sinks the Brazilian old BB's.

Germany Army dispatched to help Crush the allies in India.

Allies Ally Saudi Arabia.

Germany awaiting the the consequences from Japan and UK for lagging them out and delaying there attacks

Ill do a bigger AAR after tomorrow nights session and im sorry again for the lag out at end of session. :(

Wow such a predicatable allied move to help a desperate ally. I smell dead meat (Russia). There is also another smell, oh yes thats from the allies changing there underware after as I predicted they focused far to much on Japan and made the classic allied mistake. Now you will rush into a foolish offensive.

To bad I told G yous would do a move like this in a PM a week or two ago and as predicted, allies did exactly what I thought they would based on the desperation of there Soviet ally due to failed allied support to take preasure off in the west as the allies were to busy beating up on Japan. Allies realising there mistake now rushed into an offensive to draw away german forces from Russia. Unable to get forces to Europe quick enough its was always going to be middle east, east africa as it was closest to your major forces in Asia.

I smell desperation and an Axis victory looming.

So, the USA is meant to invade Europe within 7 months of joining the war, as well as stop the Jap? You are a joke.

The Saudi operation has been planned since February.

Axis forces will be drawn off Russia to fight in Palestine & Persia. An unfortunate lag spike will likely negate the impact by allowing Axis forces to reposition but all the more glory to the UK armor columns if they pull it off.

There are other options that the allies could do with good planning and have been used befor to good effect.

I dont think SE would be to happy with the allies leaving Germany free to focus solely on Russia with no preasure from the west or really anywhere on the Euro Axis. A fatal mistake which could doom Russia.

Im not privy to the Axis plans but if it was there overall plan to let Japan suck allied forces away from Europe so Italy and germany could focus on Russia then it has surely worked a treat. Its good to glow in the glory of beating Japan in a few battles, but it could cost you the war in Europe to do so.

I look forward to reading the posts to come to see how russia holds out and the allies desperate attempt to flank Germany. Is it to little to late from the allies? Did russia under estimate Germany & Italy? Is it merely an illusion of Axis strength.

Have you read the posts? Actually sat down and read them? Your comments dont resemble the game being played one iota. Japan has not been attacked. Germany has not been left alone.

No I did not underestimate Germany or Italy, I was expecting a tough fight and a bloody tough fight is what I got. But in all fairness I think I can honestly say that I have given as good as I have got, afterall some of those German and Hungarian divisions are mauled worse then some of my Russian ones. The Allied offensive into the Mid East would have been preferred a couple of months earlier, but with winter allready starting to set in. I now have some breathing space to reinforce, upgrade and replace my losses. The Euro Axis now have to fight a massed allied invasion of the Mid East. The deciding factor will be wether the allies can make their advances and hold the line against the all inevitable Axis counter attack. I think the next 6-8 months of war will decide the fate of one of 2 countries. Germany or Russia... SE.

I think its safe to say that the Allied landings came as a complete suprise. Air patrols over Palestine & Egypt found only some minor Axis reinforcement in Egypt and none in the north or Palestine pre invasion. The 70+ divisions I had been facing in persia dissapeared (strat redeployed I presume) and with a weeks head start they will probably get in position before I can claim the airfields. But you have your second front, make hay with it.
