Follow these instructions....reboot after changing.

Step 1 Go into the HOI 2 Folder.
Step 2 Open db Folder
Step 3 Look for "misc" file and double click it
Step 4 Scroll down to this line "# Reinforcement Manpower Cost Factor"
.8
Step 5 Change the .8 to .4(Just delete 8 type in 4 same location)
Step 6 Go to file menu top left
Step 7 Select save

Hmm we may have to have some-one co-op as well as i think we have to many players now. Major, munster, nolan, BB, gezeder, Albatross, Joel, Omni, the kiwi, jh and myslef. So thats 11 players, Jh did say that he cant make this session as hes away on holidays but would like to play the US. I know nolan wants the US so maybe they can co-op.

On another note it looks like i might have to go Germany again. There has been some conerns raised by other players (not me) that omni is not rdy to play the central nation of the game yet. There conern is that he might do something reckless or quit early and runin the game for all. I can understand the conerns as well as it will take long term commitments to play out the game.

So i guess omni you just need to play one full big game before everyone is happy that you play in the same manner as the whole group.

So that means Germany can only really be played by myself, major, nolan or munster. Major has already said he dosnt want it as he has little experiece playing them, i think that would be the same for nolan. So unless munster wants to play them i will have to give up UK and go Germany. Ill sus munster out see if wants them.

Maybe a good idea to play the new game in coop mode as to make the game more flexible for players later on.

Omni your still welcome to play just a number of players are concerned that you are no dedicated or patient enough to see the game through to the end. Since we only play this game once per week it would be a great waste of everyones time should a central nation like germany just quit or do something which runins the game for he rest.

All you need to do is prove you that you share the same goals for ours games as the rest of us. That means if the game has to be played at slow levels then so be it, you dont do rash things just because you are bored. You know we have had problems with this in the past, but i wont go into that know its history. This wasnt brought up by any of the players that actualy played with you when this happened but the new players, who also followed our threads and knew what happened.

So just play one Big game to its conclussion and that should go along way to easing there concerns, and im sure they wont have a problem with you then chosing any nation you wish.

As the USA may not see any action for the first 6 years of the game i suggest another country would be better for JH to control rather than a USA coop. Maybe a minor allie would be more interesting for JH for the first few years of the game. Last game JH was doing a good job with the ANZAC forces.

Is the position of UK now vacant in our Sunday game?

JH in Co-op Game as Italy

Jh said he wants to play in our sunday game just he cant make this first session as hes not back until late sunday night thats all. Thats why i suggested he do a co-op with USA.

I will be away for Sunday games 15th and 22nd May as ITA, and also the 24th May (Tuesday) as France (if we last that long) - so if JH would like, he can play those times. Is that possible with the save game files etc??

Yea wont be a problem, if he wants. Give him some more experience with different nations. Also try to get to vnet 5-10 mins befor 6pm so we can sort things out. Cya then.

An Italian dow on Spain because the Nats are losing is only ever going to incite a UK alliance with Rep SPain, no other result was ever going to happen. You simply cannot have a game that will last if the war starts in 36 for gods sake.

Now fellas please do these things, :listen to what people are saying, do NOT take minutes at a time to reply, pay attention! Post clear and concise rules that have no ambiguity in them! PAY ATTENTION!, no male marking your territory putting your foot down bullshit and finally PAY ATTENTION

The Pain In Spain Remains

Well guys the SCW has caused some contention over the past few games so maybe putting Spain under diplomatic quarantine untill the fall of France may be necessary.

Yes, this issue has been adress now and the rule about spain and any early wars as been added to our rules. Major has editied it, check it out on page 3 of this thread.

Ive talked to BB, Albatross, gez and major and there all fine to play from the autosave from before Italian DOW on Spain and UK DOW on Italy etc etc.

So basicaly we wont have any minor wars until major war starts in sept 39 then its open season. Only exceptions are wars via events eg China and Albania. All other wars should be kept until after war including yougoslavia as to much risk there of turkey, romanai and such joining in.

I remeber we had the exact same rule for HOI for this reason. Seems give people a little freedom and we abuse it, me included.

Anyway game is one for same time next sunday, 6pm start if we can all make it for a good season. And for most of us Tuesday game is still on for 7pm-11pm. Cyas then.

Sorry I wasn't able to fix my computer in time for the game, hope it went well and thanks for ur help major. I managed to find the DMZ, so hopefully I'll be up and running for next time. (Hopefully Hungary hasn't been annexed)

No Mike..not unless agreed by all. Set time is 7-11pm but if all agree we can start earlier. Its a bad doing for doing things.
