I would like to start earlier on sunday if we can, 6pm or 5pm can everyone make this???

On china the main reason we dont have human players for it is when the war starts in 1937 the game will run on slow speed for the rest of the game while they fight, taking us weeks if not months to actualy reach war for everyone else. It takes long enough to get from Sept 39 to Dec 41 for the Japs and US to get into the war.

I dont think there is any way around this, except i know they are working alot to on the AI for the 1.3 patch maybe that will help a bit. The amount of IC Japan actualy gets from china is only around 20 or so, it does get more resources though and most importantly positions in which it can attack an number of areas.

We just have to accept the a human japan will normaly conquer china sometime in 37 or 38. I cant see any one wanting to sit around for many weeks watching a China player and Jap player fight there war while the other six players just sit around. If cant see a solution can anyone else?

I hate this game, its really boring playing Australia in a 38 scenario, I have no resources. :( In the 36 scen they have almost triple the army and manpower.

Oh well :(

I think the only problem with the 38 scenario is people (the Axis mainly) have failed to adapt their strategies to exploit its strengths and diminish its weaknesses.

And yes it is somewhat boring for minors.

Jap push stalls

South West Pacific July - Sept 42

The Japanese offensives in Borneo and the Dutch East Indies have bogged down after US infantry arrived to bolster the flagging Dutch defenders. The IJA has been unable to advance East beyond Java and failed to dislodge the Allied defenders from Borneo. Some movement by smaller jap formations in Borneo have been noted by crafty Aussie coast watchers but all else seems quiet on the South West Pacific front.

The South Pacific Task Force under Admiral King has yet to engage the IJN,s main battlefleet. Both fleets seem unwilling to venture into harms way without the protective air umbrella and Navy bomber support provided by nearby friendly airbases.

US and Canadian special forces have captured the last 2 Jap bases in Micronesia and are ready to move against the now isolated Island fortress of Truk.

US infantry have landed in the Southern Phillappines meeting no resistance on the beaches.

In Europe

The air war has intensified over occupied Europe and Nazi Germany with the Lufftwaffa throwing up stiff resistance where ever and when ever it can. Our USAF and RAF formations are attacking by day and by night to make sure the Nazi flyers get no respite from the battle.

Some Allied commanders are growing concerned with the success of the rapidly advancing Red Army. Many are calling for an early second front to be opened in Western Europe to counter the Communist gains in the East.

Allied leaders are now of the opinion that the war will not go on for as long as feared. With the Allies and Soviets going on the offensive on most fronts, the days of Axis conquest are well and truly over.

God bless the USA

The empire

A very quite session really.

Japan is pushing on into mid Burma and wins most of the gruelling encounters, but fresh reinforcements of a field army of marines will soon restore order. Every battle put japan further an further away from its lines of communication.

Elsewhere the war was quiet, bomber command campaign opened with some well coordinated attacks on N Germany. With bombing technology in infantile phase results are fair - good, but with long reorg time due to Luftwaffe air defence. However new techs in near future will address this.

The RN grows back with new BB, DD and CV.

Resources flowing abundantly to all corners of the empire.

All in all the early strategy of tieing Japanese down in the feint in Vietnam is now bearing fruit, with japan even unable to secure NEI. With Australia and NZ secure, the USN is looking for yellow meat to grind.

"Moscow Express" reports from the Russian front:

After months of preparation and relocation of forces the brave Soviet forces launched massive counterattacks along all sections of the front. Wave after wave of human sacrifices were made. Major breakthrus in the Northern front have been exploited and Russian armies stand adjacent to the German border. German retreats in the south resulted in the capturing of all the German summer offensive claims. At one stage the whole German army was in retreat along the front. Many German divisions were decimated and organistaion was destroyed as they fled back home in full retreat. False claims made by the Germans were dismissed as 2 Generals were promoted to Field Marshals for masterminding the offensives.

More reports to follow...

Allied air offensive opened at the same time as the Soviet ground offensive in the east. Germany assembled strong air defences for the comming air war over France and Germany. The Luftwaffe has proved superior in every aspect to the best the US and UK airforces can through at it, with the allied sqdrons shot down in there droves. New POW war camps are being asembled for the masses of captured allied pilots. Thel uftwaffe continues to grow in strength, if the allies are trying to defeat germany from the air then they will need alot more aircraft then they currently have.

In the east Soviet forces unleshed a big offensvie up north which managed to push German forces back a number of provinces. In the south the soviets were unable to push German forces back, Hitler order some more forces north to halt the soviet advance so in a wise move chose to pull back to the river line that the USSR so loves. Once German forces were redployed and re-organised into different armies the soviets offensive has be stopped dead in its tracks with numerous Axis counter attacks pushing the soviets back. Concnetrated soviet attacks have failed to break the lines further in the north with soviet armies retreating with heavy losses. More forces are arriving daily at the northern front to stop and counter any soviet winter offensive.

In the south the foolish soviets tried to do mass attacks across the river, but found massive strong axis armies and were sent into retreat in a hurry. Limited axis counter attacks once again threw back the soviets.

With German amires now fully re-org and regrouped into new more effective armies and replacements making most armies at 100% strength any soviet offensive will be repulsed. With new Panther tanks filling out the ranks of the panzers Hitler is now confident that new offensives can be made soon to once again drive deeper into the USSR.

German armies are still deep inside the USSR, with no German land held by the Soivet or Allies. 1943 looks to be a good year with a number of super weapons becomming avaible. P.S can yous see where ive got my first Nuclear plant.
