meh if I'm going to give up an evening to play i want more then one and half hours of play. Its a bit dissapointing the way this group is going I gotta say, too much arguing and no real dedication to play proper sessions...
Well, we did have some debate, but nothing of note I'd have said.
Our problem was crashes, and hey, you get nights like that.
We only advanced 6 months or so, but then, we have had sessions without crashes where we only got that far as well.
Not much to comment on for the USSR. The allied nations of Tannu Tuva, Mongolia, and Afganistan report increasing numbers of volunteers for their armed forces, whilst industrial expansion and military growth stand together competing for the resources of the Soviet Union.
Whilst leadership is apparently lacking after the purges, reports have shown that some commanders in charge of quelling the Afgan incident some time ago are already looking ready to lead Red Army units in any future conflicts.

With all connections back to normal now we should have little probs. Also gunship found out his CPU was only operating at 50% along with his Hard drive. So that may also explain some of his drops, which he has no fixed. So all should be normal again.
Session time is 9pm Wednesday, i should be home by about 8.45pm and will go to vnet then to see if we can have a quick start. We will also play aslong as we can, im good for all night.

Well that was crap and I still dont think its the save, major and gunship have both had a history of drops and crashes. But anyhoo what a waste of time that was

It is strange that the same people seem to crash, but the point is that these same players don't drop in other games.
It's irritating to think we might have ruined this game through corrupt saves, so I would like to see us try playing on with this, with only the starting players. If people are ok to give this another go, rather than just giving it up for dead, how about we firstly try playing on with current saves (with starting players only), and then try to revert to a pre-add on player save.
Failing that, I'm demoralised enough to give up HOI2 for a while... So much time and effort for what otherwise?

Yeah I'm just about ready to give it away at least until 1.3

I have all the saves from this game.
This mean we can load up from the point just before omni joined and continue from there. So if the game continues to crash we know its some ones conection as the game ran fine for awhile. If it dosnt crash then we know it is to do with human player joining after the AI contolled it.
Also major and myself have agreed to keep minor nations out of the alliance to make sure that is not cuasing it as well.

Where have I had a history of crashes? This lateset game every one has crashed including bumble, Munster, gunship and myself all at different times.
No session tonight due to players having other commitments. Next session is wednesday 7pm if all can make it.

My conn is still dropping at random, sometimes it stays connected for an hour sometimes only a few seconds...

Well that is we even want to bother turning up, if BB's connection is no good then we cant play. Plus we never organised another night so im not sure the others can even make it tonight. So unless BB posts that her connection is fully stable then i would say session is off.
If we did play it would be normal time of 7pm.
