Whilst it sounds acceptable whilst zoomed out, when you zoom in (just even a little bit) the audio is extremely crackly and some gun shot sounds are missing and some sounds do not play properly.

Soundtrack music also sounds a bit strange almost like low quality and very compressed? You'd expect a clear soundtrack in a modern video game.

I've also noticed that you can hear Bren Carriers (of all things) moving around like half a map away whilst tanks are much quieter. They also seem to cause a lot of the sound crackling issues.

The devs have stated several times that a lot of units are lacking sound effects.

As for the music, that is just an Eugen thing, they don't really care.

They reused soundtracks from 2005 games as their main theme for their Wargame series.

Modders will probably improve music/sound effects when the mod tools are released. IMO the devs should focus on game mechanics, balance and bugs.

I like the sound of SD better than the Wargame games tbh. Of course it could be better but its good enough imo. Something I would like to see improved are the effects. The fire looks to static and smoke clouds should rise a little bit higher into the sky. Also buildings should catch on fire when there is heavy fighting going on.

I think I disabled the Wargame: RD soundtrack in the options. Hearing that track reminded me why: all the RD tracks sounded like they came out of a clock radio.

Nice edit :^)

It's useful to edit posts to add more context/information. Not sure why you're making such a passive aggressive post like we're arguing or something?
