At'ysland
Welcome on Cities Skylines Urban Planning
Introduction
Episode 3 - The Island (The new world)
This map will be updated in time.
At'ysland was formerly an island of fisherman and farmer. The geopolitical changes of regions and the intensification of the exchanges between the emerging countries have radically changed the map of the world commercial roads, and place At'ysland at the heart of this gigantic crossroads. Its strategic location is going to contribute to an unprecedented development.
Episode 4 - MIYAZAKI (The first town)
MIYAZAKI is the cradle of the island. In spite of the development of this one, it knew how to keep its charm and its peace. According to the legend, the island which it shelters was inhabited by devils who to push away the foreigners. Today, there is an attraction a tourist and a perfect place for the swimmers.
Episode 5: Kagoshima - The entrance of At'ysland
Located on the southern tip of At’ysland, KAGOSHIMA links the Island to the mainland. It’s the gate of At’ysland. Kagoshima is blessed with exceptional scenery, of beautiful oceans, hills, and is home to many parks and diverse, rich nature. Growing around Kagoshima are the world's largest variety of radish, the Kagoshima daikon Radish, and the world's smallest variety of orange, the Kagoshima komikan Mandarin Orange. From the mountaintop visitors may overlook the town and will have a view of Kagoshima Bay and quiet waves.
Episode 6: The Freeway
Route 01 is a major artery in At’ysland that runs in a generally north-south direction. The expressway begins at Kagoshima Bridge, south of At’ysland, and ends at the Angels bay near the Kansai Airport.
The cost was approximately $110 million Cimsflouz. The end of the construction is planned to year 2018.
It features a double-decked elevated section of the road system of the island. It’s the bigger traffic corridors through At’ysland, planned for carrying up to 300,000 vehicles per day
The elevated section is supported by steel-reinforced concrete columns. The roadway itself was constructed on top of concrete slabs supported by steel girders.
The Route 01 is a high-technology highway
The height of the elevated section is higher than required to cross city streets and provide clearance underneath. The intent of this was to reduce traffic noise at ground level.
Interactive lighting is controlled by sensors: it only turns on when traffic approaches. It is a sustainable and cost-saving alternative to continuous lighting. Interactive lighting can also provide speed guidance.
Glow-in-the-dark lining absorbs energy during the day and glows in the dark. The lining emits light for as long as ten hours. A safe and sustainable alternative to conventional lighting for dark roads.
Road deck markings can be flexibly adjusted, to show a continuous line or a dotted line. Dynamic traffic control, adjustable depending on the situation. Dynamic Lines contribute to capacity management.
