The 91001 works for me in AHD. I created a seperate txt file called cheats in the Event folder... try that, maybe its conflicting with something in the file you put those codes in.
Also dont forget to put


into the "Event Modifiers" file which is inside the "common" folder in the root directory of the installation. Just place it at the bottom of that file.
Hope this help :)

This modification work fine.

If you add this in army_inventions.txt (inventions folder) that's will remove completly the land attrition system until you have researshed "Combustion Engine". But how make this tech unavailable for AI ?

shouldn't the "ai = no" line prevent the AI from getting it? I'm guessing its the wrong command to use then. Someone would have to give the correct one.

I am wondering if anyone knows the easiest way to enable a communist proletarian dictatorship from 1836? I'm hoping to attempt some Soviet communist world conquest/spread (not really achievable, I know) and would like to play as the Soviet Union from 1836. I know that event 60000 is a communist revolution event, and event 1001 (I think) enables communists in the UH, but i've yet to find the event that enables the communist party.

What i would suggest is to make the communists the ruling party, then enable event 60000.

I also suggest rolling back political reform to make the UH the ruling party only.

Hmm, are you ok with a socialist party? Otherwise, change to a HM govt, and make the socialists/commies the ruling party. Then event 60000.

No it doesn't, that's just your capitalists. "instantconstruction" (or "inc" for short) just completes currently building army and navy units and province buildings.

Even easier way... Just mod the country history file. I've even done it for you! :cool:

I changed the capital to Moscow, made it a Proletarian Dictatorship, disabled meetings and voting, made the upper-house Communist and put the Communist party in charge.

To install just go to here, or wherever you installed Vicky 2;
C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Victoria 2\history\countries

Cut and paste the file "RUS - Russia" to somewhere else as a back-up. Then copy and paste the new Communist one from the .zip file at the bottom of my post into that folder.

Make sure the first reform you make is Ruling Party only if you want to keep the Upper House communist. I kinda cocked that up in the text file. :(

Even easier way... Just mod the country history file. I've even done it for you! :cool:

I changed the capital to Moscow, made it a Proletarian Dictatorship, disabled meetings and voting, made the upper-house Communist and put the Communist party in charge.

To install just go to here, or wherever you installed Vicky 2;
C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Victoria 2\history\countries

Cut and paste the file "RUS - Russia" to somewhere else as a back-up. Then copy and paste the new Communist one from the .zip file at the bottom of my post into that folder.

Make sure the first reform you make is Ruling Party only if you want to keep the Upper House communist. I kinda cocked that up in the text file. :(

I just checked my game, with the code i used, and none of the AI countries have the invention, so it worked perfectly for me.
