OK, so I won't call this a bug as I don't know if this game mechanic existed before or if I don't understand it but here I am fighting an internal war in Italy and bam the Emperor puts me behind bars. I've been falsely imprisoned before, but this one has an actual -100 modifer for "attempt to murder in realm."
Yeah, I'm trying to kill my rebelling kin, what murder? His troops were in my way but unless you can accidentally strike at a friendly I don't know what's up. Since this is the middle ages I'm guessing they don't know about my crimes from like 10+ years ago, but I've mostly been a pious ruler since.
Luckily he liked me enough (the first one of several Emps) to let me go with a ransom, but at first I thought it was game over for this ruler. I dunno maybe my spymaster wife got drunk and misheard her directions...any idea?
