Hi all,
i would like to know a thingh about atomic bomb.
I just reserched the atomic waste bomb ( a-bomb type 1), but i am not able to use it, because they say me that my nation don't know how to build an a-bomb. So how i can build it?
Thanks all

The waste bomb won't do a thing for you. You need to research the next higher type to have A-bombs available. The amount of bombs you get is dependant on the highes bomb type you have research (the higher the type the more bombs you get per year).

So i have not to build the bomb, my nation will build it automatically when i develop a-bomb type 2?

Yes, you can see the amount of nukes you have on the top of the screen next to the little atomic symbol. Furthermore, by hovering the cursor over that symbol, you'll see when your next bomb should be available (provided you have the necessary techs researched.)

When you have appropriate technology (e.g. Tritium bomb), you'll start producing A-Bombs automatically. They'll be added into your Nuke-pool (atom icon near dissent indicator on topbar). I think base bombs are done at rate 1/year, when you have "heavy water plat" tech, it halves nuclear bomb production time. Most advanced nuke is produces at shortest 3 months.

Also, when you produced let's say 3 nukes of type 1 (your ABomb counter is showing 3) and you develop bomb type 3, all already made bombs become bomb type 3.

I dont think (I may be wrong) that the type of bomb influences anything in terms of "destruction" power. A nuke destroys every ground troop in a province period - whatever the level of research you have. The only reason to search higher nuke levels is to increase the production speed like you said.

Maybe I'm wrong since I havnt used nukes in a while...

Nope, you're perfectly right.

Waste bomb does not work. Just research towards tritium as suggested above. A bombs supercede each other so you only need to develop tritium which would give you the most A bombs (highest rate of production).

Just go for the tritium bomb. Nuclear waste bombs are never built.

The various A bomb levels supercede each other similar to tanks when you have to choose a 30 40 50 or 70 mm gun for a basic medium tank. You pick one and never need to research the others. Tritium will produce more A bombs for you.

Skip U 235 and and thermal diffusion plant which are used only for semi fission bombs. Otherwise proceed down the nuke research levels and focus on tritium when to comes to choosing which A bomb "model " that you will build. As Germany I started nuke research around 1942 and had 6 A bombs by early 1947 using tritium.

This is true, but if they didn't, we really wouldn't have a whole lot to talk about either.
